Greater Shepparton City Council has been made aware of a potential phone scam operating in Greater Shepparton.
Council has received a number of phone calls from residents who received a phone call asking them for details on behalf of Council.
Residents have been advised if they receive a phone call asking them to provide personal details to not provide this information. Greater Shepparton City Council will not ask you to provide or update personal details over the phone.
If you receive this phone call you should visit the Australian Signals Directorate website where you can recognise and report potential scams. You can visit their webpage here.
